Fit for a Queen Exhibition at the Textile Museum

Discover the Fit for a Queen exhibition, dedicated to Queen Sirikit and her couturier, Pierre Balmain, who created her ultra-luxurious wardrobe.

The Fit for a Queen exhibition at the Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles sheds a light on the working relationship of close to 22 years between Queen Sirikit and the famous French couturier Pierre Balmain. He has worked on dozens of the most sumptuous outfits from shiny cocktail dresses to traditional Thai costumes for the 85-year-old queen.

On this occasion, you can see more than 30 day and evening dresses with accessories, bespoke bags by Louis Vuitton never before exhibited and a highlight of the creation of these works from archival images. You can witness the creative process through the sketches and samples loaned by Pierre Balmain S.A. and Maison Lesage in Paris.
